Ingredients:

For Imli and Aloo Bukhara chutney

  • 250 grams tamarind (soaked for two to a few hours)
  • 125 grams aloo bukhara (soaked for 2 to 3  hours)
  • 325-gram jaggery
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seed (roasted and crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red chili
  • 1 teaspoon black salt
  • Half teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • 1 glass of water

For Chatpati chana chaat:

  • 250 grams chickpeas(soaked in a single day & then boiled)
  • 2 medium potatoes, boiled and cubed
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 3 green chili, finely chopped (non-compulsory)
  • 1/2 cup tamarind chutney
  • 1/4 cup chopped sparkling mint leaves
  • 300 grams of  yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chaat masala
  • half teaspoon crushed red chili (regulate to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seed (roasted and beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seed (roasted and crushed)
  • 3 tablespoons Tamarind pulp
  • 3 Whole red pepper
  • Papri ( for garnish)
  • Sev (fried gram noodles) for garnish (optionally to be had)
  • Salt to flavor

Preparation:

For imli aloo bukhara chutney:

1. In a pot, first we add tamarind and aloo Bukhara pulp, jaggery, cumin powder, crushed red chili, black salt, chaat masala, salt, and a glass of water and convey it to boil.

2. Cook for five minutes and then add corn flour (jumbled together one one-fourth cup of water) and stir it whilst you discover your preferred consistency then turn off the flame and down-pour into the air-tight jar and refrigerate it.

For Chatpati Chana Chat:

3. First we add chopped potatoes and water into the pan, add a pinch of food color (optionally available), and boil it till they’re cooked.

4. In a pan, add cumin seed, coriander seed, and whole red chili, then roast it and overwhelm it apart.

5 In a bowl, add chopped onion, chopped tomato, chopped green chili, and mint leaves apart.

6.In a bowl, add yogurt, place a teaspoon of salt,1 teaspoon of sugar, and half of a cup of water and beat it apart.

7. In a bowl, add boiled chickpeas, tamarind pulp, salt, crushed red chili, chaat masala, organized masala, boiled potatoes, and greens and mix it.

8. Lastly, we add organized yogurt, imli aloo bukhara chutney, sev, and papri. Delicious and mouth-watering chatpati chana chaat is ready to devour, revel in it and percentage your revel with us.
